Charles “Gregg” Finley, 71, of Easley, SC, was called to his eternal home on Friday, February 13, 2026.
The son of the late Pat and Charles Finley, Gregg loved Jesus, and that love overflowed into every area of his life. He was devoted to his family, a passionate sports enthusiast, and a loyal fan of the South Carolina Gamecocks.
Throughout his life, he faithfully served and shared his faith through many avenues — as a pastor, a coach, in sports radio, and through various business endeavors. No matter the platform, Gregg never missed an opportunity to share the good news of the gospel with those around him. Gregg was full of joy, and his spirit was contagious to everyone blessed enough to know him.
Surviving are children, Billy (Tami) Finley, Alston (Aaron) Mark, BreAnna Finley, Kasey (Justin) Owens; eight grandchildren, Eliza (Austin) Morgan, Weston Finley, Brody Duncan, Tillan Duncan, Ella Pate Duncan, Zemi Mark, Healey Owens, Stoney Owens; and great-granddaughter, Mallory Blake Morgan. Gregg is also survived by sister, Deedi (David) Barnette and his three nephews; along with many beloved cousins and friends.
The family will host a celebration of his life Wednesday, February 25th, at 3:00 p.m. at St. Andrew Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at St. Andrew from 1:30-2:30 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pickens County Meals on Wheels, 349 Edgemont Ave, Liberty, SC 29657. The family will reside in their respective homes.
