Gregory Earl Burch, 42, son of Dr. and Mrs. E. Earl Burch, Jr., died on February 20, 2013. He was born in Atlanta, GA, on January 22, 1971.
He graduated from Daniel High School where he was a MVP distance runner on the track team and All State in cross-country. Gregory graduated with a B.S. in Management from Clemson University where he lettered in the javelin and was a member of the 1993 ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championship team. Gregory lived in Florida and was a health and fitness professional. He was also a photographer and an artist.
Surviving are two sisters, Julia Burch Seligson and husband, Brian of Savannah, GA, and Catherine Burch Smith of Clemson; a brother, Christopher Burch of Clemson; a niece Rachel Dotterer Smith; and a nephew Connor Brian Smith.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm on Tuesday, February 26th at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 193 Old Greenville Highway, Clemson, SC. A reception will held in the parish hall following the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Bread and Water Fund for Cange, Haiti, Episcopal Diocese of Upper SC, 1115 Marion Street, Columbia, SC 29201.
