Gregory Joel Yown, 52, of 205 Central Landfill Road, died Tuesday, August 7, 2012.
He was born in Greenville, SC, a son of Etta Mae Gillespie McJunkin and the late Joel Rowley Yown. Greg was a short order cook with Monk's Corner in Central.
Surviving in addition to his mother are a brother, Scott McJunkin (Christy) of Central; sisters, Kathy McAlister (Monk) of Central and Fonda Finney (David) of Liberty.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a brother, Kevin Yown and his step-father, Frankie McJunkin.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
