Gretchen Mildred Krish Randall, 46, of 134 Sir Lancelot Drive, died Friday, October 23, 2009 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Dobbs Ferry, NY, she was a daughter of John C. and Pauline E. Buck Krish of Southport, NC. She was a graduate of Cobleskill State University and worked as a teacher's aid for special needs children at Hunt Meadows Elementary School. She recently was inducted into the Beta Honor Society at Greenville Technical College. Having grown up on a farm, she had a passion for animals and often rescued and cared for lost or hurt animals. Mrs. Randall attended Providence Presbyterian Church in Powdersville.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Scott Randall; a son, Sean P. Randall; a daughter, Kristin Lea Randall, all of the home; two brothers, Michael Krish of Seneca Falls, NY, Andrew Krish of Wilmington, NC; a sister, Jennifer Moore of Brazil, IN; five nieces, and four nephews.
Funeral services will be 4 pm Wednesday, in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road with Reverend Jon Feld officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kristin Lea Randall Scholarship Fund; 134 Sir Lancelot Drive; Piedmont, SC 29673.
