Grover W. "Bill" Elischer, 81, of 116 Worcester Lane, passed away Saturday March 12, 2011.

Mr. Elischer was born in Trenton, N.J., a son of the late William Grover and Mary Longmuir Elischer. He retired as the owner and operator of Ford Printing Company in Trenton, N.J. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War serving in General Patton's Third Army where he was in charge of printing and communications. He also served in the Navy and the Air Force. He dedicated his life to his family, for they were the most important thing in his life. He was an avid golfer and San Diego Chargers fan and loved traveling, living in the South and cooking.

Surviving are his wife of 29 years, Caroline Forsyth Elischer, of the home; a son, Glenn T. Elischer, of Phillipsburg, N.J.; two daughters, Jenny Elischer, of Trenton, N.J. and Victoria Lang, of New Hampton, N.H.; a step-daughter, Verena Keller, of Oakland, CA; a sister, Isabel Stokes, of Andover, MA; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife of 29 years, Praxeda "Pat" Elischer.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
