Virginia Guinn Whitworth Rampey 81, wife of the late George H. Rampey passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at McCall Hospice House.

Mrs. Rampey was born in Walhalla, and was a daughter of the late Clarence and Bessie Ripley Whitworth.  She was a graduate of West Gantt High School in Greenville, a homemaker and a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church in Easley.

Surviving are her daughters, Deborah (Tony) Kelley of Pickens, Tara Hutson of Goban, SC; her sons, Roger (Shanna) Miller of Homosassa, FL;  Donald (Debra) Rampey of Greenville, Daryl (Regina)Rampey of Liberty, and George W. Rampey of Stephens City, VA; twenty five grandchildren and forty seven great grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Gray of Anderson and Cookie Walker of Greenville; brother, Eugene Whitworth of Shelby, NC.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by, a son, David Rampey; a daughter, Denise Hudson; and a grandson, Kevin Bennefield.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 3:00 P M at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Central.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 P M until 2:30 P M  prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to McCall Hospice, 1836 W. Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC  29680.
