Gwendolyn "Gwen" Regina Clifton Clark, 83, wife of James Philip "Phil" Clark, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 28, 2022.

Born in Clarksburg, WV, she was a daughter of the late Delbert Woodrow Clifton and the late Madeline Michael Clifton. Gwen was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed basket weaving, quilting, knitting, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a former loan processor in the Atlanta, GA area and she was of the Methodist faith.

In addition to her husband of fifty-nine years, she is survived by a son, Timothy James Clark (Rebecca) of Duncan, SC; a daughter, Lesli Renee Clark of Suwanee, GA; a sister, Jackie Goff of Clarksburg, WV; a granddaughter, Katherine Taylor Gaddis (Russell) of Dahlonega, GA; and a great-grandson on the way, Lane Reece Gaddis.

The family will host a memorial service at a later date.
