Carrigan "Halley" Sterling, age 13, of 217 Venus Court, died Sunday, November 1, 2009, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in Greenville, Halley was the daughter of Ronald and Danina Michelle Pace Sterling of the home. She was in the eighth grade at Powdersville Middle School and she attended Marathon Community Church.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her brother, Hunter Sterling, and her two sisters, Haven and Hannah Sterling, all of the home; her maternal grandfather, Ron Pace and his wife, Gayle, of Greenville; and her maternal grandmother, Dana Sprouse and her husband, Harry, of Ridgeland, S.C. Halley was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, George and Gwendolyn Sterling of Melrose, Massachusetts.
Memorial services will be 7:00 P.M. Thursday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Phoenix Academy, P.O. Box 1948; Greenville, S.C. 29602.
