Harmon Courtney Smith, 80, died Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at Oconee Memorial Hospital.
Born in Oconee County, he was the son of the late Franklin Dillard and Betty Justice Smith. He was a retired fork lift operator for Winn-Dixie and was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Smith was a Veteran of the US Army having served during WWII.
Survivng are four sons, James Smith of Belton, John Smith of Greenville, Terry Smith of Greenville, Michael Smith of Greenville; a brother, Ralph Smith of West Union; a sister, Ruth Clemens of Pendleton; eleven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Wade, Fred, Roy, and Clarence Smith; and sisters, Hattie Wood and Retha Rochester.
A memorial service will be 2:30 PM Saturday, December 1, 2007 in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
