HAROLD C. CHASTAIN - Central
Harold Clayton Chastain, 70, died on Friday, April 6, 2007. A native of Pickens County he was born May 4, 1936 and was the son of the late Robert Lee and Savilla Bryant Chastain. He retired from Pickens County and was a Volunteer Fireman and Rescue Squad member in Central.
He is survived by 8 children: Roger and David Chastain of Easley, Donnie Chastain of Liberty, Lynn Barnes, Susan Edmond and Jimmy Chastain of Central, Elaine Smith of Seneca and Walter Chastain of Pendleton. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. He was recently predeceased by his wife Mildred M. Chastain.
Funeral Services will be Monday, at 3pm in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 6:30-8:30pm.
