Harold Cooper, 81, of 108 Briarwood Road, died Sunday, April 29, 2007 at Palmetto Health Baptist.

Born in Oconee County, he was a son of the late Robert and Rose Smith Cooper. He was a retired roofing and sheet metal fabricator, a member of Jones Avenue Baptist Church and was an Army veteran of WWII.

He is survived by, 5 sons, Wayne Cooper, Roger Cooper, Donnie Cooper and Ronald Cooper all of Walhalla and Mike Cooper of Seneca; daughter, Kathy Cooper of Easley; 3 brothers, Curtis (Bill) Cooper and J.T. Cooper of Walhalla and Walter Cooper of Florida; 4 sisters, Maca Blackwell of Elberton, GA, Estelle O'Kelley of Easley, Maybelle Pelfrey of Mountain Rest, SC and Louise Collins of Seneca, SC; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Syble Chapman Cooper.

Graveside services will be held at 4 PM, Tuesday at Robinson Memorial Gardens with Rev. Roger Couch officiating.

Visitation will be from 2 to 3:45 PM Tuesday, prior to the service at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road.

The body is at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Harold Cooper Memorial Fund, %Robinson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 387. Easley, SC 29641.
