Harold Junior "Bug" Cox, 74, of Easley, husband of the late Tommie Jo "Jody" Turner Cox, passed away Friday, April 20, 2012, at Baptist Easley Hospital.
Mr. Cox was born in Easley to the late Robert Lawrence and Dessie Yates Cox. He was employed by Alice Manufacturing Company, Elljean Plant. Mr. Cox enjoyed vacations, going to the mountains, the beach and having yard sales.
Surviving are two brothers, Lawrence Cox (Mary) and William Cox (Lib), all of Easley; and two sisters, Jessie Mae Meece and Ethel Cassell, both of Easley; a daughter-in-law, Sherri Derrick Cox; two grandchildren, Brandi Cox Riddle (Jason) and Brett Cox; and two great-grandchildren, Brayson and Tyler Riddle.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Cox was predeceased by a son, Tommy Harold Cox; two brothers, Ralph and Joel Cox; and a sister, Jeannette Parker Snipes.
Funeral services will be 2:30 PM Monday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.
Family members are at the home of his sister, Jessie Mae Meece.
