Born in Bridgeport, CT, the son of the late Rudolph and Rose Krumphl Knablein, Mr. Knablein retired as a self-employed pattern maker.
Survivors include a daughter, Lorraine Volgmuth of Milford, CT, and two granddaughters of Easley.
Services will be held at a later date in Milford, CT.
Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley, is assisting the family.
