Harold Eugene Owens, 74, of 105 Woodward Way, husband of Gladys Dickard Owens, passed away Sunday May 6, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Owens was born in Oconee County, SC, a son of the late Dock Wilson and Mary Adams Owens. He was a graduate of Easley High School and Greenville Tech. He worked for many years in textiles and retired from Focus Golf. He was a U.S. Army National Guard veteran and a Baptist. He especially enjoyed camping and being at the lake.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his son, Mark E. Owens and his wife, Ashley Owens, of Easley; a daughter, Cyndi Stewart, of Piedmont; a brother, Doyle Owens and his wife, Sandra and their son, Adam, all of Laurens; grandchildren, Crystal Stewart, of Piedmont and Nate Rodgers; and a great-grandchild, Madi Rodgers.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, with the Reverend Bob Tate officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Tuesday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
The family is at the home.
