Harold Murph Richey, Jr, 70, of Easley, died Sunday, July 16, 2023 at the Callie and John Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, SC. Born in Greenville, he was the widower of Julia Foster Richey and the son of the late Harold M. Richey, Sr. and the late Evelyn Brewer Richey of Powdersville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Davis of Piedmont and his sister Lynn Baker of Liberty.

Harold retired from Bell South/AT&T where he served as testing technician for more than 40 years. He was a member of Roswell Presbyterian Church in Roswell, Georgia.  He loved his Clemson Tigers, never met a dog he didn’t love and enjoyed traveling the country with his beloved wife, Julia. 

Surviving is a sister, Sandra R. Faulkner of Piedmont, nephews Scott Davis, Todd Faulkner, Michael Davis and Justin Baker, and nieces Peggy Seymore, Shannon Faulkner, Jenna Sturman, Britton Lorenzen and Beth Rhodes.  In addition, there were many great nieces and great nephews spanning several generations.  

The family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road with a Memorial Service to follow at 2:00 PM in the Chapel at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.
