Mr. Harold Fletcher Stegall, 81, of 108 Pearson Rd., passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2011.

Born April 23, 1930 in Pickens County, he was a son of the late Reuben Washington and Mary Shirley Stegall. He was a Korean War veteran serving in the US Army and was a farmer. Mr. Stegall was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.

He is survived by his sons, Roger Stegall (Lonita) of Cleveland, Dale Stegall (Deborah) of Marietta, Steve Stegall (Annette) of Pickens and Jeff Stegall (Tammy) of Easley; sisters, Mary Ann Lesley and Linda Chappell, both of Easley; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Jimmy Stegall, Wayne Stegall and Patrick Reuben Stegall; sisters, Sarah McNealy, Peggy Gilstrap and Ellen Tate.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 PM Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Rock Springs Baptist Church with Dr. David Gallamore officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.

Escorts of honor will be the Tom Sheriff Sunday School Class.
