Harold B. Tripp, Jr., 75, of 104 Tripp Lane, went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, October 3, 2007.
Born in Easley, he was the son of the late Harold B. Tripp, Sr., and Dot Beatrice Smith Tripp. Mr. Tripp was a member of New Life Church of God where he served as the clerk of the church for 25 years and was retired from Woodside Mills, Furman Division where he worked as a loom fixer.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Doris Earline Robinson Tripp of the home; six daughters, Kathy Youngblood, Debbie Kelley, Sheila Sutherland, Robin Perry, all of Easley; Pamela Reece, Mandy Brown, both of Liberty; three sisters, Sara Brown, Mary Robinson, both of Easley, Kitty Speed of Aiken; 19 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Friday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown with Reverends Stephen Peele, Wallace King, and Raymond Whitman officiating, and burial following in Westview Cemetery in Easley.
Visitation will be prior to the service on Friday from 2:30 until 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
