Harriett Barker Howard, 81, of Mile Creek Road, wife of the late Rufus Holland “Dick” Howard, passed away Monday, July 11, 2016 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.
Born in Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Ora Arve Barker.
Mrs. Howard was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Larry Howard (Donna); grandsons, Ross Howard (Ruth), Russell Howard and Richard Howard.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Paula Allen and brothers, Henry, Donald and George Barker.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM at the funeral home.
