Harriette Nash Drawdy, 66, of 102 Bent Tree Street, died Wednesday, September 24, 2008, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Spartanburg, Mrs. Drawdy was the daughter of the late Wright and Lila Mathewes Nash. She graduated from Spartanburg High School, attended Converse College and was a Spartanburg Debutante. She was employed in Human Resources at Central Textiles. Prior to that, Mrs. Drawdy worked for a number of years at Woodside Mill in Easley. Mrs. Drawdy was a member of The Episcopal Church of The Advent in Spartanburg.
Surviving are her husband, Jack "Jackie" Edward Drawdy, Sr., of the home; two sons, Jack E. Drawdy, Jr. and his wife, Tonya, of Easley; Ben Drawdy and his fiancee',Tonya Taylor, of St. Augustine, Florida; one daughter, Melissa Drawdy, of Simpsonville; and two grandsons, Jack Edward (Jake) Drawdy III and William Nash Drawdy.
Graveside funeral services will be 2:30 P.M. Sunday at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
The family will receive friends from 5:00PM to 7:00PM Saturday at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615 or the charity of one's choice.
