Harrison "Bill" Cuddy, 73, of Piedmont, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, July 16, 2012 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Hazard, KY, a son of the late Denzel and Georgia Sweet Cuddy, Mr. Cuddy retired from Freeman Mechanical after thirty-eight years of service and was a veteran of the US Air Force.
Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Sexton Cuddy of the home; two daughters, Martie Hudson (Don) of Elkin, NC and Melinda Cuddy of Easley; two step-sons, Bobby Joe Watts of East Bend, NC and Kenny Watts of Easley; six brothers, Earl Cuddy of Hazard, KY, Douglas Cuddy of Ohio, Terry and Jerry Cuddy of Hazard, KY, Ricky Joe Cuddy of Oklahoma and Charlie Cuddy of Dacusville; a sister, Pat Day of Easley; and three grandchildren, Dustyn Vernon, Chayson Vernon and Garrett Vernon. In addition to his parents, Mr. Cuddy was predeceased by his first wife, Ruth Thompson Cuddy.
Graveside services will be 4:00 PM Friday at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Family members are at their respective homes.
