Harry Edward Harper

September 17, 1945 — November 14, 2016

Harry Edward Harper, Sr., 71, of Greenville, was the husband of the late Carolyn Marie Mahon Harper, passed unexpectedly Monday, November 14, 2016 in Greenville Memorial Hospital.


Born in Greenville County to the late William Melton Harper, Sr. and Sara Gaze Harper.


Harry was a member of the Patriot Guard.   He loved riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing and Florida State Seminoles football.   Harry worked for W.R. Grace Cryovac for 31 years before retiring.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by loving wife of 46 years and his brother, William Melton Harper, Jr.


He is survived by his son, Eddie Harper, Jr.(Tonya) of Greenville; daughter, Lisa Marie Hicks (Chuck) of Oklahoma; brother-in-law, W. H. White of Greenville; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.  He also leaves to cherish his memory the second love of his life, Martha Kennemore.


Memorial service will be held Friday, November 18th at 12:00 PM in Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley with Pastor Danny Gilliland officiating.


Flowers are accepted at the funeral home.


Family is at the home of Eddie and Tonya Harper.
