Harvey Carrol Bridges, 62 of Sandy Springs passed away Friday, July 17, 2020. Harvey was the son of the late Felton and Mary Alma Bridges. He was of the Baptist faith. Harvey graduated from Pendleton High School in 1976 followed by a career in textiles before he retired as a maintenance technician from LaFrance Industries.
Harvey loved his days of retirement both golfing and working part time at Boscobel Golf and Country Club. He enjoyed being surrounded by friends in the peaceful setting of the oaks, pines, fairways and greens. He leaves behind a lifetime of golfing memories and conversations with friends that will forever linger across the beautiful acres of Boscobel.
In addition to his parents Harvey was predeceased by his brother in law, Levis Kay.
Surviving are a sister, Martha Kay of Sandy Springs and a brother, Scooter Bridges and his wife Joyce Collins Bridges of Anderson. He will be deeply missed by his extended family. Harvey was the proud uncle to Michael Mattison, Renea Saylors, and Casey Garrett. Harvey was loved by all and will be deeply missed.
Family will have a private service of remembrance at a later date.
