Mr. Harvey Lee Sloan, 78, husband of Mary Miller Sloan, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at his home.
Born in Pickens County, the son of the late T.K. and Maggie Cassell Sloan, Mr. Sloan retired as a truck driver with Best Pac after twenty-six years of service.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Tim Sloan and Tony Sloan (Ruth) of Easley; a special daughter, Shirley Sloan of Easley; a sister, Dorothy Chastain (Billy) of Pickens; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 13, 2013 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, with Rev. Tommy Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the Miller Family Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12:30 P.M. to 1:45 P.M. Thursday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
The family is at the home.
