HAYWARD HUDSON - Pendleton, SC

Hayward McKinley Hudson, 67, husband of Eunice Faye Swaney Hudson of 601 Central Road, died Wednesday, May 3, 2006, at Anderson Area Medical Center. Native of Orange, TX, and he was a son of the late Forest and Ada Brister Hudson.

He retired after serving 30 years with Orange County Sheriff Department and City of West Orange Police Department in Texas. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his wife, are his two sons, Gary Hudson of Cheyenne, WY and Brian Hudson of Lufkin, TX; step son, Rodney Boltin of FL; two daughters, Susie Wallace and Karla Trevino both of Orange, TX; step daughter, Marie Boltin of Orange, TX; one brother, Forest H. "Sonny Boy" Hudson of Orange, TX; fifteen grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

He was predeceased by a brother, G.A. Hudson; and step daughter, Nancy Faye Boltin.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3-4 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Orange, TX and will be handled by Claybar Funeral Home.

The family is at the home of a sister-in-law, Joyce Long, 700 Central Road, Pendleton, SC 29670.

Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central-Clemson Commons, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
