Hazel McCall Berryhill, 90, of 1125 Saluda Dam Road, wife of the late Palmer Dewey Berryhill, died Tuesday September 18, 2007 at Palmetto Health Baptist - Easley.
Mrs. Berryhill was born in Anderson County,a daughter of the late George Wesley and Gracie Page McCall and was raised in the Toney Creek Community of southern Greenville County. She retired from Swirl, Inc. and was a member of Georges Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughter, Shirley B. Chastain, of Easley; two grandchildren, Billy Joe "BJ" Chastain, Jr., of Easley, Angela Grace "PJ" Weaver and her husband, Jeffrey Scott Weaver, of Simpsonville ; a great-grandchild, Morgan Emily Weaver; nieces, Brenda Kay McCall, Hazel Marie Granger, Martha M. and Chris Junkin and a nephew, George Wesley McCall.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two infant sons, a grandson, Jonathan Allen Chastain,a brother, Lawrence McCall and a sister-in-law,Evelyn Kay McCall
Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Thursday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown, conducted by the Reverend Dr. David Case. Burial will follow in Berea First Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family is at the home of Shirley Chastain, 1125 Saluda Dam Road, Easley, and will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Georges Creek Baptist Church, 1991 Saluda Dam Road, Easley, SC 29640.
