Hazel Craig Fowler, 89, went to her eternal home in heaven on Thursday, July 4, 2013.
She was the wife of the late George J. Fowler for 62 years, and a lifelong resident of Central.
Hazel was a devoted member of Central First Baptist Church and was retired from Central Textiles.
Survivors include her loving daughter, Reba Thompson (Stanley) of Central; granddaughters Lynn Rodriguez (William) of Easley, and Beth Plumblee (Tommy) of Liberty; great grandchildren Matthew and Ryan Rodriguez and Laney and Tyler Plumblee; sisters, Betty Sanders of Central and Jo Browning (Bobee) of Barnwell; brother, Harold Craig (Edna) of Central; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents James and Nell Senn Craig; a son Donnie; sisters Margaret Kinsey and Jean Brooks; and brothers Jack and Ed Craig.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 10:50 AM, Saturday at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home in Central, with a service to follow in the chapel.
