Hazel Allo Herron, 84, of North East Main Street, died Friday, May 14, 2010, at Golden Living Center in Hendersonville, NC.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Earl and Myrtle Eugenia Sommerall Herron, Miss Herron retired from Piedmont Shirt Company, and was a member of Pendleton Street Baptist Church where she belonged to the Ladies Sunday School Class.
Surviving are a sister, Margaret H. Lesley of Pickens, a daughter-in-law, Joan Reece of Easley; and two grandsons, Travis and Shane. In addition to her parents, Miss Herron was predeceased by a son, Wilson Earl Reece, a brother, Carlos Herron, and by three sisters, Edna Younce, Betty Brezel and Ruby Stephens.
Funeral services will be at noon Monday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Scott Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge View Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until Noon Monday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
