Hazel Aiken Marler, 83, wife of the late Jesse Marler, went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, September 11, 2013.

Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late George and Sadie Galbreath Aiken, Mrs. Marler retired from Dow Chemical in Greenville, SC and attended Easley Bible Methodist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Sherry Clary (Marvin) and Teresa Westmoreland; one sister, Teena Hopkins (James); one brother, Joe Aiken (Martha); two sisters-in-law, Mary Lou and Carolyn Aiken; six grandchildren, Nicole Codell (Morgan), Eric Clary, Evan, Joshua, Amy and Ashley Westmoreland; and one great-grandchild, Callaway Lee Codell. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Marler was predeceased by two brothers, Ben and Sammy Aiken; two sisters, Lucy and Ollie Masters; a son-in-law, Steve Westmoreland; and two brothers-in-law, Jarrett and Bolt Masters.

Funeral services will 3:30 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2013 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 3:15 p.m. Friday prior to the service at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
