Hazel Lesley Sargent, 95, died March 14, 2013 at Countryside Village in Easley.

Hazel was lifelong resident of Liberty. She was the daughter of the late Oscar and Effie Lesley.

She was a retiree of Woodside Mills, Liberty Plant. She retired after 50 years of service. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. She was an active member of the Golden Gems until she moved into Countryside Park. She loved reading the Bible, desserts and solving word puzzles.

Hazel is survived by her son, David L. Sargent and his wife Pamela of Edgewater, Maryland.

Funeral services will be 2:30 P.M. Sunday, March 17, 2013 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.

A visitation will be from 1:30 P.M. to 2:15 P.M. Sunday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
