Hazel Brothers Galerno Taylor, 87, of 1020 Old Mill Road, died Tuesday January 24, 2012 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Taylor was born in Anderson County, SC, a daughter of the late George and Ruby Burgess Brothers. She retired from Sangamo - Westin and was a witness with the Piedmont Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses.
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara G. Spearman (Rufus), of Easley; a brother, Haskell Brothers, of Anderson; sisters, Louise Murphy and Tola Dinko, both of Greenville, Frances Lee, of Spartanburg and Jeroline May, of Vidor, Texas; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Douglas Galerno and by two brothers, James Brothers and Cecil Brothers.
A memorial service will be 2:00 PM Saturday at the Piedmont Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
