Hazeleen M. Winslett

Hazeleen "Granna" Massingill Winslett, 78, of 201 McBee Avenue, passed away Friday, March 23, 2012 at McCall Hospice House, Simpsonville.
Born in Easley, Mrs. Winslett was a daughter of the late James Clarence and Jeanette McCue Massingill. She graduated from Easley High School and was a homemaker. She attended Rock Springs Baptist Church, and enjoyed cooking, baking, flowers, gardening, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are a son, Horace Lee (Winn) Winslett III (Lori) of Charlotte; a daughter Jan Winslett Horne (Greg) of Easley; two sisters, Mary Ellen Addington of Easley and Doris Henry of Highlands, N.C.; and eight grandchildren, Jason Horne, Trandon Crowe, Javen Horne, Anna Ginn, Amanda Winslett, Lee Winslett, Nathan Winslett, and Rachel Winslett. Mrs. Winslett was predeceased by her husband, Horace Lee Winslett, Jr.; and two sisters, Frances Christopher and Viola Fields.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
