Helen Duane Cassels, 90, of Easley went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, December 1, 2021.
Born in Six Mile she was the daughter of the late Luther and Sula Willimon.
Ms. Cassels retired from sales and just enjoyed being with her family and friends. She was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church in Easley for over 60 years.
She was a loving Mother and Grandmother and a wonderful Christian woman who loved Jesus more than anything or anyone.
Surviving are her children, Dan LaBoone of Easley and his wife Bonnie, Dawn Reid of Easley, and Derrick LaBoone of Walhalla and his wife Kristy. Grandchildren Alexa Reid of Pickens and Hannah LaBoone of Walhalla. Her sister Joan Stephenson and her husband Gene of Pickens, Joe (Jr) Willimon and his wife Paulette of Simpsonville.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters Frances Foster, Nell Drost and Jean Irby. Her brothers Wayne Willimon, Benny Joe Willimon, and Benjamin Willimon and her grandson Chase Reid.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 5, 2021 from 1:00 P.M. until 1:45 P.M. at Rock Springs Baptist Church in Easley, SC with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 P.M. Burial will be at Rock Springs Baptist Church. Flowers will be accepted.
