Helen Jeannette Demko, 96, formerly of Port Charlotte, FL, widow of Steve Demko, died Friday, March 25, 2011 at the Seneca Health and Rehab. A native of Cleveland, OH, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Agnes Parker Morley. She retired while living in Florida and worked here under the Green Thumb Program at the Clemson Child Development Center and the town of Pendleton.

She is survived by daughter, Jean Horner and husband Frankie of Central; grandson, John Horner and wife Shari of Simpsonville, granddaughter, Jeannette Stutzman and husband Todd of Evergreen, CO, great-grandchildren, Brittany Forrester and husband Loren, Calla Horner and Erik Wiffin, great-great-grandchildren, Chad and John Scott Forrester.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2pm in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home in Central. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 1-2pm Sunday prior to the service, Committal services will follow at 1pm on Wednesday at the Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte, FL.
