Helen Diane Gravely Finley, 46, of 215 Yeoman Drive, died Sunday, July 9, 2006, at Greenville Memorial Hospital after a long and courageous battle with diabetes.
Born in Pickens County, Mrs. Finley was a daughter of Harold Gravely of Easley and Margaret Waters Gravely of Easley. She graduated from Easley High School in 1977. Mrs. Finley was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, William W. "Billy" Finley of the home; a daughter, Tiffany Abshier of Easley; a brother, Jerry Gravely and his wife, Beth, of Central; a sister, Deborah Chastain and her husband, Andy, of Easley; her maternal grandmother, Eleree Bruce of Easley; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Finley was predeceased by a brother, Rudy Gravely.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with the Reverends Mark and Matt Dibler officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of her mother, Margaret W. Gravely, 233 Noble Road, Easley, S.C. 29640.
Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown is assisting the family with arrangements.
