Helen Waldrop Foster, 85, of Mountain Springs Road, wife of the late Claude E. Foster, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017 at her home.

Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Jim and Lurie Hastings Waldrop.

Mrs. Foster was retired from Milliken, Cushman Plant, in Williamston. She loved her family and crocheting. She was a member of Mountain Springs Baptist Church.

Surviving are her daughters, Linda Morris of Piedmont, Lenora Jackson (Paul) of Easley and Claudette Dove of Easley; nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Pauline Davis of Piedmont, and Margie Moore and Dorothy Patterson both of Easley; and two brothers, Ralph Waldrop of Greenville and Leroy Waldrop of Pickens.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, Donnie Foster; a grandson Allen Morris; and two sons-in-law, Roger Morris and Dr. Gerald Dove.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, with burial to follow in Mountain Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday, from 12:00 PM until 1:45 PM at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Mountain Springs Baptist Church, 327 Mountain Springs Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673.

The family will be at the home.
