Helen Sweet Garrett, 86, of 103 Pineview Drive and wife of the late Richard Marvin Garrett, went to be with the Lord Sunday December 15, 2013 at Rainey Hospice House.
Mrs. Garrett was born in Pickens County, SC, the daughter of the late Edward Grover and Mamie Leona Garrick Sweet. She retired from Garrett's, Inc. and was a member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons and their wives, Ricky and Kimberley Garrett, of Townville, SC and Michael and Alicea Garrett, of Easley, SC; a daughter and her husband, Ann and Steve Masters, of Easley, SC; two sisters, Mary Ramey and Effie Dobson, both of Easley, SC; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; a great, great-grandchild and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Brian Garrett ; brothers, Lewis Sweet, Pete Sweet and Walt Sweet; three sisters, Bernice Owens, Jessie Bentley and Lena Holliday.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday December 18, 2013 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Entombment will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens - Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum.
Visitation will be from 12:30 pm until 1:45 pm Wednesday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
The family is at the residence, 103 Pineview Drive, Easley.
