Helen Viola Buchiester Garrison. 81, of 101 Apt. E, Stoney Creek Court ,loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died Sunday June 3, 2007 at her home after an extended illness.
Born in Piedmont, she was a daughter of the late Warren and Leona Lance Buchiester. Mrs. Garrison attended Piedmont High School and was retired from Union Carbide. She was a member of Piedmont Church of God.
Surviving are three sons, Henry Eugene "Gene" Garrison and his wife, Linda, of Williamston, Charles Edward Garrison, of Pelzer and Anthony Lee Garrison and his wife, Peggy, of Easley ; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Lee Garrison, one brother and three sisters.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday in the Chapel at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown, conducted by the Reverend Steve Vance. Burial will follow in Greenville memorial Gardens.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm at the funeral home.
