Helen Hamilton Looper, 88, of 129 Todds Trail, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Laurel Bay Health & Rehab.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Mack and Dessie McDonald Hamilton, Mrs. Looper retired from the administration department of St. Francis Hospital.
Surviving are her husband of seventy-two years, Walter Looper of the home; a daughter, Martha Swain (Jim) of St. Augustine, FL; a grandson, David Swain; and two great-granddaughters, Corey and Sean Swain. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Looper was predeceased by four brothers, Carl Hamilton, Robert Hamilton, Curtis Hamilton, and Mack Hamilton, Jr.; and by a sister, Kathryn Cartee.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday in the Mausoleum of Graceland East Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the mausoleum immediately following the service.
Memorials may be made to the Activity Fund of Laurel Bay Health & Rehab, 661 Rutherford Road, Greenville, SC 29609.
The family is at the residence.
