Helen Putman Jones McCuen, born May 6, 1924 in Greenville, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at National Health Care in Greer.
She was the daughter of the late Claude Farrow and Tommie Chiles Putman of Greenville.
She was predeceased by her husband, Wyatt Milton McCuen; a son, Larkin Thompson "Tommy" Jones, Jr.; and sisters, Sarah Putman Baumgartner (Harry) and Evelyn Putman Lewis (A.D.)
She leaves behind a son, Claude Gerald "Jerry" Jones and his wife, Sandra; daughter-in-law, Mary Margaret "Maggie" Jones; and grandchildren, Erin Jones Hall (Jason), David Duncan Jones, Lauren Ashley Jones, Kaitlyn Leigh Jones, and Haley Larkin Jones.
Helen was a lifelong member of Pendleton Street Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to the Pendleton Street Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 2018, Greenville, SC 29602.
Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Greenville.
