Hazel Williams Mulkey, 91, of 132 Grant Valley Road, died Sunday, December 17, 2006 at the Hospice House of Anderson.
Born in Easley, she was a daughter of the late Robert Earl and Leah Greer Williams. She was a 1933 graduate of Easley High School. For over 31 years, she was a bookkeeper with Collins Cadillac and was a member of George's Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Rev. Dr. Robert C. Mulkey and his wife, Fleda, of DeLand, Florida; grandchildren, John Marc Mulkey and his wife, Tamara, of St. Petersburg, FL, and Lydia Anne Mulkey of Los Angeles, CA; a great-granddaughter, Madison Mulkey; 2 nieces, Linda Broom of Easley and Dr. Irma Williams of Tampa, FL; and a nephew, Jerry Williams of Japan. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mulkey was predeceased by a sister, Gaynelle W. Holder; and a brother, Robert Earl Williams, Jr.
Services will be 11 AM Wednesday at George's Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 10 to 10:45 AM Wednesday prior to the service at the church.
The family respectfully requests that flowers be omitted and memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621 or to George's Creek Baptist Church, 1991 Saluda Dam Road, Easley, SC 29640.
