Helen Walters Nalley, 76, of 303 Ann Drive, died Monday October 5, 2009 at her home.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Charles Joseph and Helen Phipps Walters.
Mrs. Nalley is survived by her husband, Dewey E. Nalley of the home; three sons, Mike Waldrop (Joan) of Seneca, SC, Dante Waldrop (Angie) of Liberty, SC and Charles Nalley (Jan) of Pickens; three daughters, Debbie Landreth (George) of Greenville, SC, Anita Clayborn of Pickens, SC and Antha Dorr (Benny) of Liberty, SC; two sisters, Sarah W. Mazzone of Philadelphia, PA and Cissie W. Ford of Pickens, SC; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Nalley was predeceased by a brother, Charles Joseph Walters, Jr. and a sister, Anna W. Boyce.
A memorial service will be 4:00 p.m. Thursday, October 08, 2009 at New Life Baptist Church, Blue Ridge Drive, Greenville, SC. The family will receive friends at the church from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to United Christian Ministries, 303 Dacusville Highway, Easley, SC 29640.
The family is at the home of Jack and Cissie Ford, 1015 Country Club Road, Pickens, SC.
