Helen Van Beusichen Phillips, 91, formerly of Crestview Road, wife of the late James William Phillips, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Magnolia's of Easley.
Born in Ridgewood, NJ, the daughter of the late Henry and Elsa Sachse Van Beusichen, Mrs. Phillips was a graduate of the Ridgewood School of Business. She was a homemaker who loved working in her garden, journaling and was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Susan Phillips Stroud and husband, Dr. Lawrence Stroud; two grandsons, Sam Young, Jr., and wife, Raegan and Todd Young and wife, Ashley; and four great-grandchildren, Abby, Emma, Morgan and Madison.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Phillips was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara Levering.
Graveside services will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be immediately following the service at the cemetery.
Flowers are appreciated or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
The family is at their respective residences.
