Helen Campbell Powell, 85, formerly of 508 E. Church Road, died Monday March 19, 2007 at Countryside Village.

Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late William Furman and Sallie Watson Campbell. Mrs. Powell retired from Stone Manufacturing Company after 40 years of service and more recently was the owner and operator of Hope Ceramics. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

Surviving are her brother, Roy A. Campbell, of Easley and her sister, Jean C. Vinson, of Easley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Fred F. Powell, two brothers, James E. Campbell and W. Dwight Campbell and a sister, Gladys C. Limbaugh.

Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Thursday at Corinth Baptist Church conducted by the Reverends Troy Crain and Ray Campbell. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family is at the home of Jean C. Vinson, 139 Pine Lake Drive, Easley and will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday.
