Helen Mull Ray, 84, of 121 Elgin Lane and wife of Jack N. Ray, died Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at her residence.
Born in Haywood County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Ruth Green Mull. Helen was a homemaker, an avid bird lover and a member of Trinty Wesleyan Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Rev. Jackie Ray (Blanche) of Central; a daughter, Patricia R. Smith (Ray) of Taylors, SC; a sister, Faye M. Owen of Clyde, NC; grandchildren, Mrs. Cindy Woody, Dr. Brian Ray, Mr. Jason Ray, Dr. Joshua Ray; great-grandchildren, Drayden, Meredith, Grayson, Faith, Colby, Taygan, Olivia, Abigail, Claire, Calli and Sawyer.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Edward Mull.
Funeral services will be held at 3 PM, Thursday at Trinity Wesleyan Church with Revs. Don Milstead and Jim Wiggins officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Central.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 2:45 PM, Thursday prior to the service at the church.
The family is at the home.
