Mrs. Helen Louise Hooper Reid, 64, wife of the late Raymond Scott Reid, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Baptist Easley Hospital.

Born in Greenville County, a daughter of the late Ernest Alexander and Eula Murphy Hooper, Mrs. Reid was a retired school bus driver with the School District of Pickens County, and a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Helen was a devoted grandmother who loved country music, making floral arrangements, and home-decor.

Surviving are a son, Joshua W. Williams of Dacusville; two daughters, Charlene Lesley of Easley, and Brandi Johnson (Richard) of Maine; two brothers, Bill and Joe Hooper; a sister, Hazel Popham; and six grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Reid was predeceased by one brother and one sister.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 29, 2014 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Paul Turner officiating . Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM Wednesday at the funeral home, prior to the service.

Family members are at their respective homes.
