Helen Harbert Rumsey, 88, of 810 Raymond Ave. and widow of Enoch Terrel Rumsey, died Saturday, November 18, 2006 in the Hospice House of Anderson.

Born in Oconee County, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Hattie Tannery Harbert. She was a retired Nursing Assistant at Latham's Nursing Home in Anderson and was a member of Taylor Memorial Pentacostal Holiness Church.

Surviving are: 3 sons, Enoch Rumsey, Jr. and Gordy Rumsey both of Anderson and Pat Rumsey of Lancaster, SC; 4 daughters, Faye Hall, Ann Brown, Nobie Carter and Kathy Rumsey all of Anderson; a sister, Mary Baker of Anderson; 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by: 3 sons, Eddie Massey, Glenn Massey and James "Boney" Rumsey; a brother, James Harbert; and a sister, Ruby Davis.

Private Services will be held at a later date.

The family is at the home of a daughter Ann Brown, 106 Jackson Street, Anderson, SC 29625, where the family will receive friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice House of Anderson, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
