Helen Hunter Simmons, 75, of 103 Robinson Avenue, died Monday, December 3, 2007 at Palmetto Health Baptist Easley.

Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Haudie L. and Minnie Roper Hunter. She was retired as a waitress and was a member of DayStar Baptist Fellowship.

Surviving are her family whom she loved dearly; her husband, Charles W. Simmons of the home; a son, Tony Simmons and wife Cindy of Easley; a daughter, Tracy Klippert of Liberty; a brother, Wayne Hunter and wife Eugenia of Easley; four grandchildren, Jeremy Klippert and wife Courtney, special granddaughter Candy Garrett and husband Andy, Chevy Simmons and fiance' Chad Harrelson, Jonathan Simmons; a great-granddaughter, Amber Garrett; and special nieces, Jackie Humphries and Terri Chapman. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Hazel Nalley.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown with Reverend Mike Reid officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be prior to the service on Thursday from 12:30 until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.

Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to DayStar Baptist Fellowship; 1615 Gentry Memorial Highway; Easley, SC 29640.

The family is at the home.
