Helen A. Moore Simmons, 69, went home to be with the Lord and joined her beloved husband, Thomas Marshall Simmons, Saturday, April 5, 2014.
Born in Oconee County she was a daughter of the late Elzie and Mary Ellen Revis Moore. Mrs. Simmons worked at J. P. Stevens and was a member of Trinity Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by a sister, Eloise Gilstrap, of Norris, SC; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by a sister, Alice Stone.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Monday, April 7, 2014, in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central with burial following in the Abbott Cemetery, Liberty, SC.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM Monday at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, prior to the service.
