Henry Furman Bagwell, Sr.
Easley
Mr. Henry Furman Bagwell, Sr., 81, husband of Barbara Duncan Bagwell, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at his home.
Born in Pickens County, a son of the late George Oscar and Artie Holder Bagwell, Mr. Bagwell was employed with GE for twenty-seven years and was a member of Enon Baptist Church. He was a member of the Bates Lodge #189.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of fifty-eight years, are a son, Henry Furman "Buddy" Bagwell, Jr. (Kim), of Wiesbaden, Germany; one sister, Lorine Hall of Easley; two grandchildren, Alexander Bagwell and Kourtney Fargie (Derrick); and two great-grandchildren, Sean Bagwell and Benjamin Fargie. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bagwell was predeceased by five brothers, Oscar, Eddie, Bill, Walter and Earl Bagwell; and five sisters, Mary McDonald, Ethel Howard, Alice Ellison, Margie Roper and Emily Bagwell.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, September 27, 2014 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Reverends Scott Willis and Brad Dover officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park with Masonic rites.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
