Henry Ervin "Little Henry" Dacus, Jr., 85, of 1728 Old Williamston Road, died Wednesday March 18, 2009 at his home.

Mr. Dacus was born in Easley, a son of the late Henry Ervin Dacus, Sr. and Margaret Rogers Dacus. He retired from J.P. Stevens & Company - Dunean Plant and was a U.S. Army Veteran of W.W. II. He was a member of Mt. Airy Baptist Church and the Mountain Springs Masonic Lodge.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Reid Orr Dacus, of the home ; a son, Mike Dacus and his wife, Ansley, of Powdersville ; a daughter, Mary Ann Hunt and her husband, Paul, of Easley ; a brother, James Dacus, of Easley ; sisters, Margaret Elizabeth Chick, of Villa Rica, Georgia and Dorothy Ann Dacus, of Easley ; 7 grandchildren ; 7 great-grandchildren and one great, great-grandchild.

Funeral Services and entombment will be 1:00 pm Friday in the Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum at Robinson Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Dr. Keith Shorter and Reverend Larry Strickland officiating.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at the mausoleum chapel.

The family is at the home.
